116th Anniversary of the Frank Slide

In 1903, Canada's deadliest rockslide claimed nearly 100 lives. Explore the impact of the disaster through high-definition presentations, live interpretive programs, and interactive exhibits.

  • On the Edge of Destruction: An award-winning docudrama on the Frank Slide story. 30 minutes in length, plays on the half hour all day
  • In the Mountain's Shadow: A high-definition award-winning show about the Crowsnest Pass. 22 minutes in length, plays on the hour all day
  • Special interpretive presentations highlight aspects of Canada's deadliest rockslide

Also explore the Frank Slide Trail: a 1.5 kilometre trail where visitors can explore the impressive rock debris left by the slide.
