Job Summary
The Frank Slide Interpretive Centre welcomes thousands of visitors each year and we are looking for engaging and enthusiastic individuals to join our interpretive team!
We are looking for full-time, seasonal interpreters for a 4-month contracting period.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and assist delivering public, education and sleepover programming.
- Provide information about the Frank Slide and surrounding Crowsnest Pass to visitors of a variety of backgrounds.
- Answer questions regarding travel in the region to visitors.
- Assist with the research and development of programming for education and public programming.
Experience:
- Related Post-Secondary Background
- Demonstrated Public Speaking Abilities
- Strong Writing Skills
- Positive Attitude
Assets:
- Experience with Public Programming
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License
- First Aid Certification
Rate of pay of $23.00/hour. Employment from April 28 through September 7 , 2026. Staff will work approximately 36.25 hours per week , including weekends and holidays on a regular basis.
